Wolfe’s five-book Southern-based series centers on a group of college-aged kids and portrays love and friendship overcoming all obstacles. She began writing as a teenager and was inspired to return by the adage that everyone needs “something to hope for and someone to love”. Ten years associating with a motivational training system and her experience as a foster parent gave her the in-depth knowledge of relationships, personality traits and success principals. Wolfe’s series, The Circle of Friends, focuses on the pursuit of dreams and the overcoming of obstacles. The stories intertwine as the characters learn that with belief and encouragement, they can achieve anything. Many of today’s young adult novels are salacious & controversial and glorify frequent sexual activity, negative attitudes, and deviant behavior. Wolfe’s series focuses on wholesome and uplifting stories that are suitable for adults and teens alike. Four books are currently available in her series, which has been picked up by Dancing Lemur Press.
Traveling the East Coast to promote her series, Wolfe sets herself on a heavy tour of extensive book signings and speaking engagements. A keynote speaker at the 2007 Book ‘Em Festival, the author averages over sixty store appearances each year, traveling from Ohio to Arkansas to Florida. Her media appearances include Salem Media Network, CNN Radio, The Writing Show, and Jones Radio Network. Dubbed online as “Spunk On A Stick”, she tours virtually as well. Wolfe maintains a website and blog for her series and contributes articles for several other sites. She is also co-administrator of an online writer’s group, The Writer’s Meow.
