Married at 17 and starting a vegetarian burrito business in my tiny kitchen soon after that, my husband and I went on to create The New Deli eatery in 1985. From the Land of Milk and Honey is the fruit of my labor: A cookbook/devotional with 85 favorite recipes from our shop, and commentary on Christian living. Twenty-some years later, the deli is thriving, our sons have grown up, and two grandkids brighten our lives. God is good!
