Dennis: How long have you been a writer?
Warren: I started writing articles for my church newspaper about twenty years ago. These were mailed in bulk to the local zip code around the church. The purpose was to outreach to the local community with a Christian perspective. I taught Sunday School for many years and had notes and quotes on many subjects. However, I never considered writing until late 2002 when God began to speak to me about developing my notes and quotes into book chapters that concisely summarized what the Bible says about many subjects that have been misunderstood or are controversial. This is how Truth Seeker got started.
Dennis: You have written a book titled the Truth Seeker. Please give an overview of the book and where it may be purchased.
Warren: TRUTH SEEKER is for everyone who has ever wondered “What does the Bible really say about…” It is a concise and objective summary of many practical living and theological topics supported by numerous quotes. You will be surprised by some of the popular religious ideas that are not found in the Bible.
Dr. Kevin Fontaine, Christian author of “The Jesus Cure” says…” Mr. Mueller provides cogent, yet comprehensive explanations of the truths that saturate each and every page of the Bible. In other words, Mr. Mueller has taken on the Herculean task of combing through the Bible to see what it says to us about the issues that confront each of us everyday. Mr. Mueller performs this near impossible task with grace and aplomb.”
Dennis: You have a web site www.warrenmueller.com. Please giver an overview of the purpose of the site and the types of information available.
Warren: The purpose of my web site is to provide information about me and my articles and books. My background and testimony are featured as well as published articles and books I have written. I also have a blog page and have provided my e-mail. I welcome any comments or suggestions regarding improvements to this site, future writings or any other matter of interest.
Dennis: You have several great articles one of which is titled Overcoming Anxiety. Please give an overview of the article.
Warren: Worry or anxiety is a natural response to the uncertainities of life. We desire to be in control of the events of our lives but there are many such as our health and the actions of others that we may influence but don't control. Worry is proportional to our sense of security. The Bible tells us to take our worries to Jesus in prayer and leave them with Him (1 Pet 5: 7; Phil 4:6-7). Worries increase when we become focused on the things of this world. Worry decreases as we focus on Jesus and realize that He is working in and through the circumstances of our lives to accomplish His purposes.
Dennis: You recommend two sites on your web site. www.TheHopeWithin.org and http://www.zpcommunications.com/. Can you give an overview of the two sites and why you recommend them?
Warren: www.TheHopeWithin.org web site is one that I have been a featured author and have contributed to.
